"Sometimes, fishing is about being in the right place at the right time.
"It's hard to believe, but when I had my heart attack, I was lucky. I was doing landscaping work in Portsmouth and the paramedics brought me to Charlton Memorial Hospital.
"I found out this is the best place for heart problems. They can take care of everything. They did an angioplasty — a balloon in the arteries — and I ended up with three stents.
"I feel better now than I ever did before.
"Thanks to Southcoast, I have a lot of time to fish with my grandchildren."
