9. You have to exercise vigorously every day to improve your blood pressure and heart health.

Even moderately paced activities help prevent and control high blood pressure. Moderate doesn't mean a leisurely walk around the block. You would have to walk briskly to gain blood pressure benefits.

Experts recommend engaging in moderate activities for at least 30 minutes, most days. Walk briskly, mop floors, or go biking. If you don't have a 30-minute period, break it up into periods of 10 minutes each.
