Southcoast Hospitals is now offering the Optifast weightloss program at Tobey Hospital in Wareham.
What is Optifast?
The Optifast program includes medical supervision, meal replacements, comprehensive lifestyle and behavior modification group sessions, and ongoing support. It’s effective, with an average weight loss of 52 pounds. Seventy-five percent of patients maintain their weight loss after two years.

It treats the whole person by combining lifestyle education, meal replacements and medical management. Participants receive individual and group counseling by experts who understand the challenges of weight loss.
