Breathe Better Campaign
On October 1, Southcoast Hospitals Group announced a new
healthy initiative that limits smoking at the three hospital sites
and raises public awareness of the health risks associated with
smoking and secondhand smoke. Called “Breathe Better,” the
campaign is part of an ongoing effort to reduce smoking on
hospital property and to educate employees and the public
about the health benefits of quitting or reducing smoking.
