A Helping Hand

A program introducing a number of complementary techniques to assist patients and their families in coping with a cancer diagnosis. Aromatherapy, therapeutic massage, relaxation techniques and meditation.

Support Group

First Monday of the month, 4 to 5:30 p.m. Ongoing support group for anyone who is post-treatment for a cancer diagnosis. This is offered to enable patients to deal with their feelings after treatment and with any effect the diagnosis and/or treatment has had on their lives.

Baby-Sitting 101 — Safe Sitter

For boys and girls age 11 and up. Teaches children to become safer and more effective baby-sitters. Heimlich maneuver and CPR are taught.
