The Health of Your Community
Depends on You

This year, Southcoast Health System will celebrate its 10th anniversary. In that decade, Southcoast has brought unprecedented levels of health care to the area — from the introduction of cardiac surgery at Charlton to a state-of-the-art surgical wing at Tobey to the Emergency Department expansion project now happening at St. Luke’s.

From the start, Southcoast has worked tirelessly to bring the most advanced services to the communities it serves and to make care available to those who might otherwise go without.

As a not-for-profit health system that depends upon community support to help fund its programs, your help and financial support made many of those accomplishments possible.

Here are just a few of the items funded by your support:

  • The new Southcoast Health Van (funded mostly by local businesses).
  • Life Support Mechanical Ventilators.
  • TVs for patient rooms.
  • Infusion Pump.
  • Compact Ultrasound System.
But there is a lot more to do — and we need your help to do it. Your ongoing support of Southcoast Health System and our hospitals’ annual funds help us to continue providing the care that our patients need, when they need it, while preparing for future challenges.

If you have already given, we thank you for all you have done and hope you will continue to support your community hospital. If you have yet to donate to Southcoast, please consider making a gift today — the health of your community depends on it.

Please make your gift today by visiting our secure website, www.southcoast.org/give, mailing your donation to Barbara H. Mulville, CFRE, 101 Page Street, New Bedford, MA 02740 or calling us at 1-800-925-9450.
