Southcoast offers a variety of childbirth
classes to suit every new family’s needs.
Preregistration is required for all classes.
Please call during the 16th week (10 to 12
weeks for multiples) of pregnancy to assure
placement in the class you need. Not all
classes are offered at all locations. Many
health insurance companies cover the cost of
classes. Be sure to contact yours to ask about
coverage. Call the following numbers for information

Yoga for Back Health, Depression, Fibromyalgia or Diabetes.Join Marcia K. Hathaway for intensive, comprehensive, doable yoga sessions designed to create home practices for specific health concerns. Each 90-minute session will address the issues specific to a category, provide handouts of specific yoga and Pilates work for each issue and offer time to practice and modify the asanas and Pilates exercises.

Aqua Tots
Parents and children go into the water in this
fun learn-to-swim program. In addition to leading
songs and games, instructors coach you on
how to teach your child. Ages 1 to 3 years.$12/class
Creative Movement
This class will inspire children to become team members and encourage them to be unique. There will be plenty of opportunities to cooperate in a group activity and to feel the energy of their peers. During each class, there will be time for each child to shine. For boys and girls ages 3 to 8.Monday, 6 to 7 p.m.

Junior Fitness
Five training sessions. One-on-one training instruction for 10- to 15-year-olds. Safe exercise techniques and equipment operation are stressed. Sessions can be customized for young athletes.Kids’ Yoga
