Meet the Physicians of the Centers for Cancer Care

In July, Southcoast Hospitals Group opened the first of two Centers for Cancer Care (see article on page 1).

Four top-tier doctors lead the program. “These physicians bring to Southcoast a commitment to combining the very best cancer treatment, technology and expertise to meet the growing needs of our region’s cancer patients,” said President and CEO Keith A. Hovan.

As Physician-in-Chief for Oncology Services, Therese M. Mulvey, MD, leads the centers’ clinical team. Board certified in medical oncology and internal medicine, Dr. Mulvey was previously president of Commonwealth Hematology Oncology in Quincy, Mass.
