The Biggest Loser Contestant Speaks
to Teens at Male Conference
Local reality TV star speaks to teens

Kruger lost 103 pounds on NBC’s reality TV show The Biggest Loser. He shared his experiences with 200 teenage boys from seven local communities at the 10th Annual Male Conference. Southcoast Hospital’s RAPPP (Responsible Attitudes Toward Pregnancy, Parenting & Prevention) program presented the conference.
“We choose conference topics such as teen pregnancy, violence prevention, drug and alcohol abuse and anger management,” said Cindy Guilbeault, RAPPP Program Coordinator. The conference addresses those tough challenges and helps the region’s teenage males step beyond them.
“Society offers you many quick and easy outlets, but they are not necessarily the right choices,” Kruger told the teens. “If you believe in yourself, you can do the right things.”
