Audiology Services at Southcoast
Are you or someone you love not hearing as well as you used to? If so, turn to Southcoast.
The Rehabilitative Services Departments at Charlton Memorial Hospital in Fall River and St. Luke's Hospital in New Bedford offer complete audiology services and hearing aid fittings with physician referral.
"We offer testing and a wide variety of hearing aids, from analog models to the most modern, digitally-programmable ones," said Patricia Henderson, a member of the Audiology Team at Southcoast. "And our staff is specially trained to work with people with hearing problems. We have all been certified by the American Speech and Hearing Association."
All hearing aids are calibrated to meet a patient's specific needs and come with at least a one-year manufacturer's warranty. Southcoast also provides a 30-day satisfaction guarantee on all products they sell. If a patient is not satisfied with their hearing aid in the first 30 days, they can return it for a refund of their costs, minus the testing fee.
"Our main goal is not to sell hearing aids but to help people communicate better," Henderson said. "We want to make people's lives easier."
