Tobey Hospital has survived for six decades because we believe in the importance of strong, local health services.

True to its legacy, the hospital is an essential presence, filling health needs that grow in complexity as medical knowledge advances. Since merging with Charlton Memorial Hospital in Fall River and St. Luke's Hospital in New Bedford to form Southcoast Health System, Tobey Hospital has found greater stability in the face of an uncertain, volatile and sometimes threatening health care environment.

"When Tobey became part of Southcoast Health System in 1996, we were determined to continue offering the people it served ever-expanding services in the intimate setting the community has trusted for over 60 years. With the Campaign for Tobey: A Legacy of Community Support, we will not only deliver on that promise but ensure the hospital's future - for generations to come."
