Thank you ... for NOT smoking

Thank you ... for making Southcoast's smoke-free zones a huge success.

Southcoast has created expanded Smoke Free Zones across all Southcoast facilities. Smoking is limited to distinct locations at our hospitals — two each at Charlton and St. Luke's and one at Tobey. All locations are clearly marked and have shelter in case of inclement weather.

Thank you for helping make our hospitals a healthy and safe environment.

Robotic-assisted surgery: Prostate cancer patients call it a miracle.

The da Vinci robotic surgical system is the world's most advanced way to remove a cancerous prostate.

It offers the cancer control of traditional prostate surgery, but is less invasive and more precise — with less risk of damaging nerves that control urinary continence and erectile function.

  • LESS INVASIVE. Using a few very small incisions means less trauma, less blood loss and quicker recovery.

  • MORE PRECISE. Less risk of damaging nerves that control urinary continence and erectile function, and a faster return to normal activities.

  • da VINCI PROSTATE SURGERY AT SOUTHCOAST. A new choice — and new hope — for prostate cancer patients.

The most advanced prostate surgery on the planet — and it's here at Southcoast Hospitals.

Test drive da Vinci: You can test drive da Vinci for yourself on Wednesday, October 22, at the South Coast Business Expo at White's of Westport from 10 a.m. to 7 p.m. Admission is free!
