Camp Angel Wings helps grieving kids
Southcoast will again be offering "Camp Angel Wings," an exciting, fun-filled two-day camp experience for children and teens, ages three through 17, who are grieving the loss of a loved one.
"Camp Angel Wings was designed for children and teens who are sharing like experiences in grief to have an educational, therapeutic experience that is also an enjoyable one," said Deanna Upchurch, Bereavement Coordinator at Southcoast Home Care, Hospice & Palliative Care & Infusion Services.
The camp is hosted by Southcoast Home Care in collaboration with the YMCA during the weekend of July 29 and 30. The camp is free and open to Massachusetts and Rhode Island residents.
