Ronald Pelletier, LICSW, CEAP, EAP Manager
Ronald Pelletier is a Licensed Independent Clinical Social Worker (LICSW) and a Certified Employee Assistance Professional (CEAP) who has been providing EAP services for the past 19 years with Southcoast Hospitals Group. He currently serves as the President of the Massachusetts/Rhode Island Chapter of the Employee Assistance Professionals Association (EAPA) since May 2009. He also previously served as Treasurer for the MA/RI EAPA Chapter.
With Southcoast Hospitals Group EAP, Pelletier has been providing counseling to employees and family members of Southcoast Hospitals and more than 40 different companies. Pelletier has received special training in workers' compensation issues, drug/alcohol abuse in the work place and has received training on critical incident stress in the areas of law enforcement, firefighters and other emergency response personnel. He has conducted numerous critical incident stress debriefings, supervisor trainings and workshops. Pelletier is also qualified as a Substance Abuse Professional under the Department of Transportation (DOT) Substance Abuse Program Guidelines.
Pelletier received his Bachelor of Arts from Providence College and has a Masters Degree in Social Work from Rhode Island College. During his 19 years of experience in the field, he has worked with children, adults and the elderly. Pelletier also has a background as a caseworker for adolescents and as a supervisor for a regional elder abuse program.
